Yasi's post about the ballerina was really cool, so I went hunting and found this picture of American ballerina Maria Tallchief. She was a dancer in the 40s well into the 60s. I loved this picture, just the grace of it but also the lighting! Oh...just look at it. So beautiful and a little spooky too.

i did absolutely nothing today aside from watch tv & soak up useless information from the internet. i adore this picture from the Ballet Nacional de Cuba; i think ballerinas are the perfect embodiment of feminine grace. i wish i wish i wish that as a little fish i'd stuck with it for more than one class, but oh well.
